Growing up in Squaw Valley, CA Travis Ganong had options - ski big lines or ski big lines fast. Home to countless snowsport legends, Squaw Valley holds the perfect conditions for creating fearless, hard-charging skiers. Travis is one of those skiers. Following in the footsteps (and bootpacks) of his talented skiing older sisters, Travis began refining his craft at an early age. After joining the US Ski Team in 2010, Travis embarked on a career of success and adventure. His highlights include a strong downhill showing at the 2014 Sochi Olympics (5th overall), 2nd overall in downhill at the 2015 World Championships in Vail, and 3rd overall in downhill at the 2016 World Cup race in Lake Louise. And while Travis has put up points on every major downhill course around the world, his athletic talent don't end there. You can find him ripping around Tahoe free skiing or mountain biking.
